Ontario Social Enterprise Consultation

In December, CISED and HUB Ottawa co-hosted a community roundtable on behalf of the Office of Social Enterprise from the provincial government. This local workshop was one of six held around the province to provide input into Ontario’s strategy to support social enterprise growth and support in the province. Findings of the report will be made available online, but preliminary findings are very much defined by those of you who are actually working to operate or support a social enterprise in the province.

Welcome to Omar Ramroop

CISED welcomes Omar Ramroop to the position of Executive Director at our partner organization in the city, HUB Ottawa. Omar brings private sector experience, a deep understanding of social enterprise needs and possibilities, and a wealth of ideas to help further support our social economy in Ottawa.
